The Calhoun County Community Network is pleased to announce that high speed wireless internet service is available in Calhoun County. The Community Network was established from a TIF grant in October 2002.
Since that time, the Community Network has trained over 800 citizens on computer applications and maintained five open labs for free access to technology. Because of the initial grant and contributions from collaborative partners a wireless infrastructure has been built connecting Calhoun County. Testengeer Internet Services has partnered with the network to bring high speed wireless internet service to areas of the county where service was not available. For every wireless customer that signs up, Testengeer will make a donation to the Community Network for the continuation of computer training courses and open labs.

Residential wireless service is available for $49 a month at a connection rate of 256k with bursts up to 1M. Business service fees begin at $99 a month with various levels of connectivity available.
